here is where all the site rules for seize the day are located. any useful information such as plots, member groups, and pokemon information will also be put here. this is important to read, so make sure you look through everything carefully!

news and announcements will go here. things like promos, character bans, activity checks, and scheduled maintenance mode times will all be placed in this section. we will also send out a monthy newsletter to every member, so be sure to read it!

want to be a part of seize the day? just join and create a character application located in here and post your profile! remember, profiles may only be posted as works-in-progress for a week at most, then they will be moved to the archives if they aren't completed.

this is where you will store your pokemon from now on! posting a log in this section is absolutely mandatory. you may make a form of your own, but make sure that the form you're using has all of the necessary information provided for you.

the fun stuff goes here! plot pages, wanted ads, instant messaging, and forum games are all located in this board. remember, plotting with other people will get you battles, so make sure you put your character out there so that they can see some action!

want to rp a couple that wouldn't normally work out on the site? want to even roleplay your character as a space cowboy fighting hipsters on the moon? anything you roleplay here is non canon, meaning none of the threads here actually pertain to the plots you make in-character. anything crackalicious can go here!

the dining center, more aptly known as the blair cafeteria, is filled with ... mysterious food. sometimes it's good, sometimes it isn't. it's always a gamble if you buy something, so it's usually a better idea to pack a lunch from one of the fast food places down the road...

gigantic classrooms that are more like auditoriums than actual classrooms contain up to five hundred blair boys inside. there is a large stage inside each hall where teachers will demonstrate techniques with their pokemon and have practice battles with students. this is a perfect place for blair students to get some experience with each other in battle!

here is where all of the halls are located -- each weaves in and out of classrooms, student commons, and dorm rooms. the corridors also lead to a few secret rooms and classrooms that haven't been used in a long time.

ah, yes, the dorm rooms. this is where you and one roommate will be living for the next nine months. located inside are four residence halls that tend to have a slight amount of competition with each other. no, there are no house points, but two boys from two different houses tend to be rivals based on house alone.

the study center, usually called the library, is filled with books on five different floors. everything from pokemon history to egg theory to type matchups can be found here, along with different types of berries and how to care for sick pokemon. there are also PCs located here where you can switch your party.

an off-campus building a few blocks down from blair academy is its affiliated building, the student center. this is where things such as battle requests, trade requests, and item purchases will take place, so be sure to check often to see if there's something you want.

this is the courtyard, the centerpiece of the entire campus. its scenery is bright and cheery, and there is even a large, expansive hanging garden all around the center. in the middle is a statue of alfred blair, the school's founder, and a large fountain. the walkway is cobblestone, and flowers all adorn and line the walkways. it's truly a peaceful place to study.

this is where you can catch pokemon for your character! the gardens include a rocky setting, a forest, a pond, and many different trees to climb. this is the only place to catch pokemon. it is very similar to the safari zone, so leave your pokemon behind.

named after the two pokemon that are constantly healing others and helping, the chansino infirmary is located on the very edge of the academy campus. it is fairly large with many different rooms and corridors, and the technology is state-of-the-art and almost brand new. this is where you'll find most doctors and nurses.

this is where many students gather during the weekend -- festivals can be held here, as well as many other exciting events. this is definitely a place worth checking out when you have a sunday free from training pokemon and studying.

care for some window shopping? are you actually looking to buy a new outfit for yourself or a new set of supplies for your pokemon? come here as soon as the doors open -- sales happen here, and it's also a perfect place to hang out and meet new people.

ah, the sweet smell of food! any sort of restaurant can be found here, from simple hot dog stands to fast food joints, all the way up to those fancy reservation-only restaurants! it could be the perfect place for a date, or the perfect place for disaster. either way, it's a very popular area, especially during the evening.

the most notorious part of being at blair academy -- the wicked parties! as soon as the sun sets, this town comes alive and begins to light up the night with music and festivities. check out the nightclubs and parties that people host here, they're always a good source of fun and drama.
